What is constipation?
In this regard, Dr. Roknuzzaman Bhuiyan said that constipation is a Bengali word. Which means stool. And hardness means – when defecating in hard form. If you have a bowel movement 2-3 times a week or less, or if the stool is excessively hard or dry, and if you do not have a satisfactory bowel movement, we call it constipation. And when it lasts for about 3 months, we call it long-term constipation.
Who suffers from constipation?
Constipation can occur at any time in life. The patient should be monitored without immediate disturbance. If a patient has anemia or if the stool is black, then it must be understood that he has a complex problem. At that time you should take the advice of a doctor.
In this regard, Dr. Roknuzzaman Bhuiyan said constipation can happen at any time at any age. However, research has shown that older people are more. Constipation is more common in men and women. And among the children who leave breast milk and go to normal food, those children suffer more from this disease. Patients who are unable to walk (who have to lie down) as a result of other illnesses also often suffer from constipation.
Also, if you have abdominal pain, some tests may be needed to find out the cause. At that time it must be arranged with the advice of a doctor. Otherwise it can take on complex shapes.
What types of tests are performed on complex patients?
In this regard, Dr. Roknuzzaman Bhuiyan said, “At this time we are doing some tests.” First we look at the amount of hemoglobin in the blood, for which a blood test is given. We do a stool test to see if there is blood in the stool. I check some blood hormones, check for diabetes and check if there are any tumors, ulcers, poly in the rectum.
What to eat, what not to eat to relieve constipation
In this regard, Dr. “I would say we should eat plenty of vegetables and fruits,” said Roknuzzaman Bhuiyan. Which contains a lot of fiber. Especially if we eat fruits during the seasonal fruits then the lack of body fiber will be reduced more.
And inside the vegetables there is a lot of fiber in potato, spinach, spinach and water hyacinth. If he eats a lot of these then his constipation will go away.
He said patients with constipation should eat less of certain foods. Such as: beef – mutton, fast food (cakes, burgers), chicken fry, potato fry, chips, etc. These should always be eaten less.
In this case, if the patient can change the eating habits, then in many cases, it is possible to eliminate constipation. We also have to try to do physical work.
